A Skill is a self-contained unit your agent can call as a tool. ToShop ships a deep Shopify catalog — hundreds of skills that wrap Shopify Admin actions as one-shot agent capabilities, so your agent can run real store work end-to-end. Browse and toggle them in the Skills tab in the left sidebar.

Installing & enabling
Browse
Open the Skills tab in the left sidebar. The Shopify catalog is grouped by category — Catalog & Inventory, Orders & Fulfillment, Customers, Marketing & Conversion, Finance, Risk, and Store Admin.
Install
Find the skill you want and click Install. ToShop downloads it onto your computer.
Configure setup requirements
If the skill needs API keys or store credentials, a setup dialog walks you through what to fill in — "Required Connections", "Required Environment Variables".
Keys go in your OS keychain, not in the skill folder. Plain text never appears anywhere.
Enable per agent
Switch on Enabled on the agent that should use this skill. Different agents get different toolkits — a Shop Operator agent might have the full Orders + Fulfillment + Customers bundle, while a Marketing agent only has Marketing & Conversion.
How your agent picks a Skill
When your agent plans a task, it matches your goal against the descriptions of every enabled skill. The best match wins.
Skill Hint Card
When your agent is about to call a skill, a hint card appears in chat — skill name plus what it's about to do. You can intervene before it runs.
When two skills overlap, pin the choice in your prompt — "for catalog tasks use Shopify Catalog" — or assign the relevant skill to a specialized agent so routing is automatic.
Authoring your own Skill
Install skill-creator and describe what you want:
"make me a skill that pulls the last 7 days of orders from my Shopify store and writes a CSV to ~/Documents/orders/."
ToShop scaffolds the skill and walks you through any setup it needs. Your custom skill appears in the Skills grid with a Local Install badge and syncs across your signed-in devices.
Marketplace
A community skill marketplace surfaces inside the Skills tab — click Browse. Curated Shopify bundles and community contributions appear there.
Per-agent skills
Each agent has its own enabled skills. Pick the agent at the top of the Skills page to manage a different one.
Narrow surface = better picks
Per-agent enablement is a security feature — narrowing the surface reduces wrong-skill picks.
